In Kindergarten the kids get to be the star student the week of thier birthday, or close to it. This was Chloes week. We made a poster(picture to come soon) which SHE read to the class monday all by herself. She got to be the special helper all week. Then today I got to go in and read the book her classmates made for her. I got to read what they wrote and them ask them each about the picture they drew. Then I got to read the book of her choice. Lastly the star student brings in a treat. According to Chloe she is the only one who has brought cupcakes and the only one who's parent actually made the treat. Lucky girl! It was lots of fun, especially since I work in the classroom once a week and all the kids no me and I know them.
